We used to be called Sclera Games. It is only the name that changed — old links still work, and both email addresses are checked.Sclera Games → Sclera Develop. Same studio, new name.

Why the rename
About the studio

A bit about the studio

Sclera Develop used to be called Sclera Games. It started out making games and grew into business software, websites and full brand identities, so the name had to change.

Founded 2024 Pakistan, working worldwide Software · Web · Design · Games
01 — The studio

We like figuring out how things get made, and we keep all of it in-house.

Sclera started with an interest in how software, websites, games and visuals get put together. That is still what the studio does, and it is all handled in-house.

The aim has not changed since: help businesses turn an idea into something they can actually use every day.

We are still early, and we would rather say that plainly.

02 — Sclera Games to Sclera Develop

Why we changed the name

Former name
Sclera Games

The old name. It still shows on the itch.io pages and on the second email address, which is fine.

Current name
Sclera Develop

The name we use now. Most of what we do is not games, so this one fits better.

  • Games are still part of it

Game development is still something we do. It was where the studio started, it just is not the whole thing any more.

  • The games kept the old name

Nothing on itch.io was renamed, so no download link, wishlist or review breaks.

  • The old inbox is still open

scleragames@gmail.com was not closed. New mail goes to scleradevelop@gmail.com, and both get read.

  • Socials moved over

The new accounts are all @scleradevelop. Follow those from now on.

  1. 2024 — Start

Sclera Games is set up. Games, an itch.io page, and some web work on the side. Everything used the same Gmail address.

  2. 2025 — Divergence

The work outgrows the name. Business software, brand identities and print started taking up most of the calendar, so calling it a games studio stopped being right.

  3. 2026 — The rename

Sclera Develop is adopted. A new inbox, scleradevelop@gmail.com, so the name and the email address finally match.

  4. Ongoing

Both names still work. Games are still published as Sclera Games, the old inbox is still checked, and old links still land here.

03 — Founder

Who started Sclera Develop

The founder stays involved from the first conversation through to handover. There is no project manager layer in between, and nobody passing your work from one department to another.

Founder & director

Aakash

Founder, developer and designer

Aakash founded Sclera Develop and leads the work across software, websites, games, graphic design and product. The studio began as a one-person operation and still runs that way, with a fairly clear idea of where it is heading.

You get a direct line, timelines that are honest rather than optimistic, and software that was thought through before it was written.

04 — Principles

A few things we keep the same

These did not change with the name, and they are the reason most of the new work comes from someone who was recommended.

  • 01

    Built around your business

No generic templates, and nothing that fights the way your team already works. We sort out the workflow first and worry about the code after.

  • 02

    Design and build stay together

Nothing gets reinterpreted in translation. What gets designed is what gets built, so the details survive the trip to production.

  • 03

    Plain but working

Something simple that works every day beats something that looks better and breaks the first time a real customer tries it.

  • 04

    Scales with you

Start with the part you need now. The rest can be added later without having to start again.
